Punk band logo 'Sartenazo Cerebral' anniversary

Dive into the chaotic symphony of Sartenazo Cerebral, where the pulse of punk beats louder than ever in their revamped tenth-anniversary logo. Crafted through a fusion of handmade illustration and vector art, this emblem embodies the rebellious spirit of a band heavily influenced by the likes of La Polla Records, Gatillazo, Tropa Do Carallo, Lendakaris Muertos, Envidia Kotxina, Estracto De Lúpulo, and more radical punk groups.

Breaking free from typographic norms, this logo defies order and cleanliness, intentionally disrupting letterforms, playing with kerning and tracking. The letters ‘a’ and ‘e’ invade white spaces, minimizing them, while the inverted ‘t’ adds an anticlerical punk twist. Distressed elements contribute to a gritty aesthetic without overwhelming the design.

Among its adaptable versions, the tenth-anniversary edition features a symbolic frying pan with the commemorative number, brains spilling over the edges, a visceral nod to the band’s name – a true Sartenazo Cerebral. A more streamlined logo ensures versatility across various spaces and scales, maintaining legibility even in smaller sizes.

In this punk band logo, I’ve encapsulated the essence of punk – expressive, irreverent, and downright fun. Working with Sartenazo Cerebral was an exhilarating experience, a celebration of a decade of sonic rebellion. Punk on!»
